While it looks like a good deal, in the end I have found the K8 clubs to have about a 1-year life span. I’ve gone through 3 sets due to various problems with the electronics. In my efforts to replace individually broken clubs I discovered that the replacements had much better battery strength and longevity than the original ones, so I still ended up with mismatched clubs. Now, I have two clubs that stay lit for hours, and two clubs that run dead in a few minutes.

Neon Husky had posted something at one time about battery replacements, but when I wrote back they told me they had not yet discovered an easy way to do this, to let them know if I found a solution.

The next set of light clubs I’ll get will probably be the Dubé Lighted Juggling Clubs, which are $35 a piece, run on watch batteries, and look reasonably good at night.
